Accommodation
In Accra we have two accommodations just round the corner from one another.
Main Accra House & Office
Our main house is large and spacious, with a big surrounding garden in the centre of town. Our office is located at the back of the garden in what used to be the staff quarters. The house has a spacious communal living area, dining area and kitchen. Upstairs there is a large balcony where volunteers sit out in the evening, a study area and bedrooms with two bathrooms. All of the upstairs bedrooms have access to balconies.

Your accomodation is very comfortable, and your staff are some of the most friendly and helpful I have ever encountered! I would definitely volunteer with Ikando again, and hope to see you all again soon. Thank you so much!"

Accra Accommodation #2
Our second Accra is located a stone's throw away from the main accommodation and office. It has a large terrace and roof top to sit out and enjoy the warm evenings. It has two large bedrooms, two en-suite bathrooms and a large kitchen and living area.

Ghana is a vibrant country with lots of things to do and see. We recommend volunteers to bring their own entertainment, such as books, music and dvd players as we do not have TV available at our accommodations. The Accra accommodations are just round the corner from Busy Internet where 24/7 internet connection is available.
Though we to meet the basic standard one would find in the west, we are living and working in Ghana, a developing nation. This means that we sometimes will not have running water. We have large water tanks which we use as a back-up in such situations and Ikando staff will ensure water is provided for you in the bathrooms. The standards of accommodation we provide are far above the average local standard.
Cape Coast Accommodation
Our Cape Coast Accommodation has two large bedrooms, two en-suite bathrooms and a large kitchen and living area. It is located on a quiet street. Taxis are easily available to commute to the City Center and back. In Cape Coast volunteers can find the regional hospital, banks and basic supermarkets.
